Pretty Smooth
Everything was pretty smooth with our process of getting a mortgage for new construction. All of the people at the Pittsburgh branch of FBC mortgage were very knowledgeable, prompt, and thorough. They guided us through the process gently and without rushing or forcing us to make a choice before we were ready. The only small complaint that we had was we felt there were several statements that were needed to explain our family's financial situation to the underwriter they had to be sent two or three times. Luckily I have the smartphone app that could collect the information and send it off quickly. Thanks again, we were satisfied with our experience.
Seth's Tip: Get a smartphone app that can send PDFs; it will make the process a whole lot easier than faxing or scanning on a scanner and attaching to email or sending in the mail.

Third time working with Jonathan and the experience keeps getting Better!
This is my third time working with Jonathan on a Mortgage in the past 12 years. Each time I have to say the experience has gotten better each time. For this round we were building our third home and I had a couple credit blemishes that needed to be fixed so that I could qualify for the better financing on my loan. Jonathan quickly looked at my Credit Reports and saw there were a couple of items that I could address to get my score where it needs to be. I followed his suggestions and I saw my credit score jump by 50-70 points in a 6 week period. After that I was able to qualify for the loan of choice and was able to even get a "Clear to Close" a full 10 days ahead of the actual close. That usually never happens. I always enjoy working with Jonathan and his staff and this time around was no different. If I ever decide to build again, I will not hesitate to work with him. He sets the bar higher each time I work with him and actually is great guy. Johnathan if you are reading this, thanks for the smoothest and stress free loan process yet!
