Great experience!
Our experience was smooth and easy from my first phone call to inquire about pre-approval with Jonathan. He was thorough and patient. He answered all of my questions and helped me to make the best plan going forward. This is the third time I have bought a house, and working with Jonathan and FBC was by FAR the easiest experience for me. They were clear about everything from the beginning and told us what would be expected at every part of the process. I can't say enough good about Jonathan and FBC. I believe we now own our forever home, but if that would change for some reason, I would not hesitate to work with Jonathan again.

Worst Experience
This was the worst experience in obtaining a mortgage. I feel I provided all information required of me early on in the process of my loan, yet processing and underwriting waited until the last week before my scheduled closing to require additional information. My experience, could have been better streamlined and less stressful than it was. I had to send daily emails inquiring on the status of my loan and when I placed calls to specific individuals, they never returned my call.

My First Home
I was extremely nervous when I decided to buy a home. I have never made a purchase of this magnitude. Before I decided to build I called other banks and I really didn't feel helped throughout the process. I then decided to build a home and was referred to FBC. From my very first interaction I felt comfortable and confident that going with FBC was a great choice. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and the rest of the team guided me through the process. They truly made this a painless process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Home Sweet Home
Disappointed by number of individuals working on the mortgage. This made it very confusing when responding with requested information and when questions arose. Lack of proactive approach regarding rate lock or final closing documents. Had to request for both to be processed. End result is that we are in our new home. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Feedback on the Loan Processing Experience
Jonathan Marcoline (NMLS ID# 145433) who was the loan officer of my loan, was very unprofessional. He needs training on the loan origination process and ability to handle customers. I got my final loan approval from FBC on Friday (6/8/18) at 4 pm when my closing was scheduled on Monday (6/11/18). I understand the minimum period is 3 business day of final approval prior to the closing date. Overall very bad experience.
Sue Ellen's Tip: Maronda refers to FBC for loan, to leverage some of their incentives. Hence, FBC holds customers at ransom with their interest rates on the loan and awful customer experience !!
