Horrible service

Luckily we don't have to purchase a new home more often because we had a horrible experience. First, the customer service was horrible because we had over 30 back and forth emails. Most of the emails were unnecessary and I feel that the process could have been more painless and efficient if I went into an office to fill out most of my paperwork and provide all my documents. Asking a customer to print, sign, scan and email back every single document was very unprofessional. When I would fax a document, they would lose some of the contents of the packet and I would have to refax the documents. Second, the communication was terrible. I was given little to no instructions on many tasks. One example was when I was asked to provide my homeowners insurance name and number so they could order the insurance and then they replied later saying I need to call and get a quote because they called and the insurance company said they didn’t have a quote on the new property. How am I supposed to know this when I was given the following instructions “I need the homeowner’s insurance name and number, so I can order your insurance. Can you please provide this?”. I can go on longer but I would rather not. Please fix this situation for all future buyers.

Wonderful Experience!!

I felt completely in the loop and that everything was taken care of with FBC. I never felt like I was a bother. I often would have questions after "working hours" and would get a response before the next working day. I felt like they were a part of our "team" as we made this home a reality for our family! I even had questions about steps to take after we had closed and I got great advise from Jay!
