Easy, Efficient Loan Process
I was a bit skeptical of Home Loans Today given that I'd found them on Zillow and they were offering the lowest rate. However, my fears quickly abated after one phone call with Mark Hoffman, our Senior Loan Officer. Mark's customer service style is direct, efficient, and easy to understand. We are currently living in Africa, buyin a house in PA and have an expedited closing date. The entire process went off without a hitch and with minimal stress.

I called Home Loans Today's regular number and it went straight to a loan officer. I worked with him from that day forward. I called him on average of once per day for the entire 1.5 months I worked with him until closing. It went to his voicemail maybe 5 times and he called me back within two hours each time. That is exceptional service! They gave me the best rate out there and I shopped around for many lenders (local and national). I heard from other local lenders I was interviewing that their rates and fees were high because they were local and offered exceptional service. They claimed the low interest rate Internet companies I was interviewing could not offer their level of service. Home Loans Today is local to my area (Orlando) but they service the nation. Their rates were low, their fees were reasonable, and they often offer credits for taking a loan with them. You can look at their current rates based on your loan value, down payment, etc. real time. It matched what I was quoted and the GFE they gave me. If a local lender charges you a high rate and high fees for using them, just hang up the phone and call this company. They post real values on their site. They're not trying to haggle you. It's a shame Kevin left the company. He was amazing!

Joe was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire home buying process. He made a point to be prompt and respectful of our urgency in needing to find a home, and did everything he could to facilitate the process and fight for us when the need arose. Through any obstacle we were faced with, Joe was there with us, and it made the process less unpleasant. We couldn't have been more satisfied with Joe's work!
ANASTASIA's Tip: Find a new appraiser. Not only did the one that was used take more time than necessary to return his initial report to us, but his insensitivity to urgency contributed to a delayed closing.

Jasmine Thorne was just the most amazing Loan Officer that anyone could be lucky enough to have represent you. She is bright,knowlegeable, articulate and a personality to go along with all these terrific attributes. I ,truthfully, have never dealt with anyone in business dealings that could exceed her professionalism and follow-up and follow-through. No matter when I e-mailed her or called her, she was available to assist me within minutes. She always had the answers and the ability to make sure that I understood every phase of my re-fi. This was all new to me and her patience to explain it calmly and easily was just remarkable. She was like a friend, helping me through all the necessary steps to complete this process. She also did this all in a very quick period of time. The loan is complete. The monthly mortgage I am now paying is far less than my prior mortgage. She was so creative in finding ways to save me money. I just don't know how she did it. Kudos to Jasmine Thorne! A young woman who has a terrific future ahead of her in the banking world! As a first time home buyer, I waa terribly intimidated by the loan review process. I conveyed my insecurities to Dave Harvey up front and he completely put my nerves at ease.
