I don't know the words to adequately express the incredible experience we had with David and the entire team who got this job done for us. We were very pressed for time with our home in NJ getting delayed, my husband changing firms and our home in Florida presenting it's own challenges. We have very strict deadlines to meet and information to be considered. David was with us every step of the way (even responding on weekends when we had emergency questions) and made sure every detail was covered. In the end, when it looked like our entire deal was going to fall apart, we got the good news we were hoping for. We are so grateful for David's efforts and availability (and sense of humor!). Our real estate agent in Florida even said he would recommend David to anyone needing their help. He is the BEST at what he does!! THANK YOU DAVID FOR EVERYTHING!! YOU'RE INCREDIBLE!!

Not a good experience
This was a disaster from the beginning with a total lack of communication and professionalism. It made for a very stressful situation. Our money was finally wired the morning of the closing but it was not a pleasant experience and this is NOT the first time we bought a home and we have perfect credit.

This is my second time that I used Phil at HLT in the last 3 years. I purchased 2 separate properties, both with HLT mortgages. The first reason is their ability to find the best rate for you and it often beats others who only use one or two lenders. Fewer vendors means higher rates. The most important advice I can give anyone is this. Go to an online mortgage calculator and input your mortgage rate and see what even .25% in interest really means long term over the life of the loan. That small but higher interest rate charge is often 5-7 times more $ than paying a mortgage processing fee upfront. Know the real facts. My friend closed a no fee mortgage and found out his rate was higher and the cost ended up being more than $5,000 more over the life of the loan, he would gladly have paid the fee now, but it is too late. Also, I have retirement income which is calculated different than wages. This makes it important to have a co. like HLT because how they calculate and process your application makes a huge difference and you would not believe how many other mortgage lenders really don't understand the process. If I need to refinance or get a new mortgage, I will be back here with Phil at HLT. Repeat business is the best compliment to any person or company and I am their repeat customer.
