Great rates, decent closing experience
Great rates and upfront communication. Didn't get a formal GFE. Had to push hard for a HUD estimate. Home Loans could make their extranet for uploading documents a bit more user friendly. Overall, things did go smoothly and I would recommend them to friends

Expert help with my loan refinancing
Jody helped me refinance my 30 year loan, I had initially contacted HomeLoansToday from Zillow mortgage lead generation. Jody called me that very Saturday/Sunday. He got my details and thought we could lock something that day. Alas it wasn't to be, however he called back on Monday as he had nailed down the loan that I was looking for. He helped me securely get all the needed paperwork across to him remotely and I alerted him that I was going to be on business travel by end of the week. He managed to get the ball rolling and had appraiser in by Friday, there after we exchanged messages and documents online across a secure connection. I returned from my business trip two weeks later we closed the first Monday there after.

Our loan took some work due to a issue with the appraised value, but once we got the ball rolling Chelsea did a great job not only getting me a great rate, but also getting it down quickly. Compared to our initial loan this was quick and effortless. I recommend Home Loans today to friends and especially Chelsea.

California refinance
I was a little nervous about using another online lender due to previous experience. I'm glad I went forward. Home Loans Today had the loast rate out there and still covered closing costs. They answered every email, returned every call, and did what they said they were going to do. I didn't have to scramble for documents at the last second either which a lot of un-organized lenders often make you do. There was one small hiccup with the Title company on closing day but it got worked out. I highly recommend Home Loans Today for your financing needs.

Anthony was great to work with. He was quick to take preliminary information and to assess my credit rating. He understood exactly the type of deal I was looking for and helped me get the low rate I wanted. The company utilizes a secure website for uploading documents, which gives a person peace of mind. I will say I have never been asked for as much documentation for any refi I have done in the past. But perhaps that's the price one pays for the nice deal I was able to get.
