I recently worked with Jorge at Coastal Loans, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Jorge was outstanding—professional, extremely knowledgeable, and adept at navigating any barriers that came up. He was always easy to communicate with and took the time to explain each step of the process, what actions I needed to take, and the timing for everything. In addition, Chaniece was my loan processor, and she is outstanding! Her communication skills are amazing, and she clearly expressed what needed to be done and what she required to clear underwriting requests. Her efficiency and attention to detail made a significant difference in the process. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but both Jorge and Chaniece made the entire experience smooth and manageable. Their expertise and dedication to their jobs were truly masterful. Fantastic Work!
I just want to highlight the Coastal Loans Team (Andrea , Victoria, and Jonathan) for their incredible work on my loan. Their turn around time moving me through the process was excellent. Resulted in me closing on the house asap. Jonathan specifically had really good response time to my day to day questions. He also kept me very up to date on the overall status of my loan. Victoria and Andrea were also a pleasure to work with! Just an overall great experience, and i couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Didn’t keep up
They didn’t keep up with the builders updates. Our house was completed 4 weeks sooner than expected and even though I kept in contact with them regarding the progress, the CO had already been issued before they started process of final approval and even then I had to push. Our house sat for an additional and unnecessary 2 1/2 weeks between that and underwriting requesting additional information. Pre-approval and conditional approval were completed 8-10 weeks prior and down to the wire I was scrambling to procure additional information for them that could and should have been requested during the conditional approval process. We were still able to close 12 days earlier than the original projected closing date, it was the most exhausting and unnecessarily stressful experience I’ve ever had getting a mortgage.

Laura and her entire team are amazing. I received 10/10 service from the moment I got my pre approval. No email was left not responded, no phone call left unreturned. Throughout this entire process Laura stayed in touch with me and answered all my questions. This portal to upload documents was super easy to use and definitely took a lot of stress off me. I will be using them in the future when I need another mortgage !
