Refinance review
We decided to do a streamlined refinance with FBC. The process went smoothly until we saw the final closing disclosure numbers. The escrow numbers did not reconcile with our information from CENLARs escrow account. The broker from FBC could not answer our questions. On the last day a mobile closing agent/notary agreed that there was an error with the escrow numbers. It was frustrating that the FBC reps could not understand and resolve the problem when we spoke to him. Everything was concluded after contacting the title company.

Easy process
From first phone call with victor to the hand holding and guidance with lisa all went smoothly, all questions were always answered promptly and we were very satisfied with the entire process. As a first time home buyer having a house built we had heard many horror stories, but the fbc team has been great during the home buying process, hoping the company they sold to service our loan will be equally a pleasure to do business with!

Our positives with FBC really came with Lisa Kenneally. We worked with Matthew in the beginning to figure out how their financing worked and the mortgage process and decided to go with FBC ultimately because of the benefits with the builder. We had a tough time once we decided to go with FBC- specifically with the person who collects all of your documents- in terms of communication, both promptness and clarity in what she was requesting. Fortunately, we were switched to Lisa and she helped us complete the process on a WONDERFUL note. She was fast with communication, we knew exactly what she wanted, she would let us know when she received our documents, and was just so friendly and personable. Thank you!
