Excellent EVERYTHING!!!
From start to finish staff was on point.. very friendly, courteous and forthcoming on everything!! They pushed hard to get us approved and moved in as soon as they could considering the holidays was in between our closing date. I had no issues working with them.. everything they asked for I delivered same day.. as soon as I had a question I shoot an email and it was answered immediately!! Great team and a great company. I am happy and enjoyed working with them!!

We had to turn around the purchase of our new home in less than 60 days. The folks at FBC were most helpful guiding us through the process. We had to move our closing date up a week to accommodate the people buying our old home. The FBC staff didn't bat an eye. We were able close on time and move into our new home before Christmas. We are very grateful for Matt, Nick, Tarah, and Tori.
Bryan's Tip: Confirm information submitted internally before contacting applicant. Sometimes applicants don't understand why they need to submit duplicate information when it is stored on the website or has been provided to staff.

As a first-time home buyer, there were so many questions & uncertainties I had prior to applying for pre-approval. It was something about the conversation I had with Chris Hartman that made me become confident about proceeding to find out if I would be pre-approved for a mortgage. Chris was always available to answer any questions as well as address any concerns I had regarding getting the right financing. In addition to this, he gave me the extra financial advance so I could pay down my debt to meet the DTI requirements. When things got tough as my closing date was approaching, his partner Matt Andre immediately stepped in to ensure my dream of becoming a homeowner would come to past. Friendly, Helpful, Painless
Second home loan we have applied for. Night and day difference between the two companies. Every time we has a question, it was answered within an hour, including weekends. Incredibly friendly team that answered everything both officially and in common sense terms. Never felt rushed or misled. Absolute joy to work with.

Great job with challenges that could have been avoided
All in all, very pleased with the way the team performed however it was not without challenges on the customer end. In my opinion, the biggest opportunity for improvement would be in communicating with the borrower better. THis does not have to be via phone but if the website could be updated to provide information as to where the application was throughout the process and how long each department took to perform it would remove some stress. In this case, the loan closed on time even though not getting final approval until 3p the day before closing. I was very impressed that the team pulled this off but to me, it should have never gotten down to the last minute. Communication is key!
