We recently switched from another mortgage company to FBC because we had such a bad experience. The previous lender never responded to our emails and phone calls, took months to get anything done, gave us bad/incorrect information- a real nightmare for us first-time home buyers. The builder recommended Kim at FBC and I was hesitant at first, but Kim is amazing! She did in an afternoon what the previous lender took 2 months to do. I was very impressed! Every time I had questions she was always there with an accurate answer, and easy to get in touch with too! She is very trustworthy and I will be recommending her to anyone and everyone needing a home loan. If I could have given her 6 stars I would have. Thank you so much Kim and Team Dorsett, we will be spending Christmas in our new home because of you!! :)

Awesome results
After a month delay in the building of my house, Kim contacted me to ask if it was possible to wait two additional days for closing on the papers as the interest rate was on a decrease trend. At the end, I received a rate .5% lower than the original paperwork was giving me. That saves me roughly $200 a month.

I am a first time buyer and heard really bad experiences about buying a house for the first time, but I have to disagree somewhat... it can be a little overwhelming, frustrating and confusing, but when you have someone as helpful, caring with a lot of patience like our loan officer Kim Dorsett everything will be a lot smoother. Buying a house is like learning another language, difficult and confusing, and I have to thank Kim because she walked me through everything and explained everything in baby steps which was great. And most importantly she always answer my phone calls or text messages right away, always answered my questions or doubts and was straight forward without any runarounds. If I had to buy another house I would definitely use her again and I will recommend her to friends and family. I trust her judgements.
