Prior to contacting The Kelly Taylor Team at FBC Mortgage of Longwood I already had a pre-approval with a different lender. My Realtor (and the seller's Realtor) suggested a second pre- approval and I was referred to the Kelly Taylor Team at FBC, Longwood. Every part of the process was easy. Whereas my 1st pre-approval took weeks to obtain, with FBC I had a decision within minutes on the phone. Each time I had a question a member of the team would make themselves available for me to put me at ease and make this process easy. They say that home buying can be very stressful, and in some aspects that is correct, with with this team at your side you stress far less! I would highly recommend FBC Mortgage, Longwood - specifically the Kelly Taylor Team to everyone!

everyone assures us the process will move forward with relative ease but that's not the case at all. Once conditional approval is given the consumer is spoon fed items that are required for final approval. This is not rocket science, unless something of an unusual nature pops up buyers should be told up front everything they possibly might need to produce. Instead you have to scramble right down to the wire. In addition to being consumers my wife and I are both full time realtors and haven't applied for a mortgage in a long time. It's an emotional process which could be made simpler and less stressful for people in an already stressful time.

Mostly Good Experience
My experience with this company was mostly good. The first person we worked with was excellent. She was very responsive and super helpful. It wasn't until the end when I was a little less than satisfied. We had a long time between when I provided paperwork and the closing, about 8 weeks. It wasn't until two weeks before the closing that things went to underwriting. This company didn't order tax transcripts in a timely manner and we were waiting for them as they were scheduled to arrive the day before the scheduled closing. They called us in a panic and asked us to sign into the IRS website and request them ourselves. I wasn't happy about not knowing if we would close on the scheduled day until the day before. Also, we requested a 9 o'clock closing. The wire transfer wasn't received until about 11:30 and we had to wait around for an extra hour before we could receive the keys. This company started off strong, but seemed to drop the ball once they knew they had our business.

Kelly was great
Kelly worked really hard for us during our difficult closing. I would say that in the beginning of the loan process perhaps introduce the whole team. it got a little confusing getting emails from 3 different people, some asking for new information or sometimes the same information. the closing was tainted by the title company who was hard to work with and horrible to communicate with. i would recommend and I'm sure Kelly would agree, to never use that company again. overall Kelly was really easy to work with, she answered emails in a timely manor and went above and beyond to help us finally close on our house.

Good experience
It was a nice experience, there was always willing to work with my situation and looking for answers and options. It could be a little stressing all the paperwork, but that it's the way business are.
