Thoughtful and Knowledgeable Service and a Smooth Handling Process
Kelly and her team are a delight to work with. They offer an attractive construction to perm loan option for those looking to build a home on their own lot, or as we did, select a home site in a builder planned subdivision to have one of their designed floor plan models with selected options and customizations to be built on the lot of our choosing. Our closing so far was for the construction portion of the loan so the builder can take draws and build the home, with the builder being responsible for the loan payments until the construction is done. Once construction is completed, the loan will be converted to a permanent loan through another closing which is for the conventional 30 year term and rate. There has been excellent communication and handling of the loan process including coordination and communication with the builder. All questions, follow ups, and email communications were handled promptly and the construction loan closing was completed within the expected time. It was also a tremendous help that a lot of the process could be done through electronic documents and signatures too since we do not currently live in the area we are moving to. We highly recommend Kelly and her team for all these reasons and also because they are very understanding of your needs, offer the best alternatives, and are very pleasant to deal with!

The process for the most part was seamless. The videos helped explain everything clearly. And once we gave the go ahead they moved our file quickly from department to department to close. The title agency where we closed was very knowledgeable and professional. One thing we weren't happy about was that I was strongly encouraged to pay a huge chunk on an interest free account to improve our score. We needed it one point higher to take advantage of the better interest rate. I was reluctant because I know that our creditors don't always report payments like clockwork. It ended up being for nothing that I paid $820 on an interest free account. We were also told that the consecutive credit runs would not all show up as hard hits. We have three hard hits on both of our credit reports, one of which was a soft pull. When it was all said and done we did save money and are glad we refinanced.
