I have worked with many mortgage lending officers over my life and Jeff was clearly the most intelligent person in his area of expertise. He was professional and personable. These are difficult attributes to find today. I certainly would ask to work with Jeff again if I pursue another mortgage.

Buying a home can be very stressful. I have never bought a home by my self before. Jeff Duncan and his staff made the process seamless. They were very prompt with a response to any question I had. Trying to negotiate the complex landscape of mortgage loans with seemingly endless documentation requirements, product options and their respective percentage fluctuations (all of which affect your monthly rate and payment), and a host of other unknown (but potentially deal-breaking) variables is rarely an easy or enjoyable task; more often than not, it is a very difficult and daunting experience. Enter Jeff Duncan—the expert mortgage loan navigator. From the moment we began working with Jeff, we could tell that we were in the hands of a professional. He was always only an email, text, or phone call away and, without fail, would return our messages promptly with answers to our questions or sound advice for our concerns. Moreover, unlike our experiences with other mortgage lenders and banks, we quickly got the sense that Jeff cared enough to make sure that our purchasing a home would not fall through as a result of some oversight, a mismanaged timeline, or even potential pitfalls of which we were unaware. Indeed, one such unanticipated pitfall at our end, dealing with a contestation on a credit report, was located and preempted by Jeff, who proceeded to get the problem resolved without any complications and with no time and effort on my part. That issue alone would have precluded our securing a loan and would have been a devastating setback. Consequently, it is due to Jeff’s expertise, diligence, and serious work ethic that I am able to write this while sitting in our new home! And, by the way, not only does he know his stuff, he’s also a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. Jeff Duncan handled our VA refi and it went great. We got an unbelievable rate and were able to close in three weeks which is VERY quick for a VA loan. Jeff expertly managed the VA process, and govt bureacracy. He made sure we understood and complied with the extra VA requirements and paperwork. It all went down flawlessly!
