AMAZING customer service
Dabney was amazingly helpful! His customer service standards are unlike anything I have ever seen before! I was able to reach him and get immediate replies! Dabney replied faster than my realtor and I had 2 realtors from selling and buying a home. He knew our budget and ran several house numbers for us. In the end with some issues we had he was able to close in time! even our realtor AND Title company were impressed with Dabney! I would recommend him to everyone! I had already talked with 2 other lenders about my refinance and felt frustrated as my husband felt they were giving me a bad deal and I didn't know where else to go as many lenders are only doing their own refinances. When I was referred to Dabney Martin everything went smoothly, when he sent me the preliminary estimates and my husband reviewed them he said "he giving you a fair deal and charging a reasonable fee". My new mortgage balance is $6,000 less than the other people quoted me! I am very happy! Took less than 3 weeks, things moved along smoothly, I would recommend to everyone I know!

I recently had the opportunity to close on a loan with a rate of 3.5 percent. The individual who helped me with my loan was Dabney Martin. Due to the fickle nature of of the government program I was trying to participate int the process took a bit longer than planned and my package had to be submitted a few times. All along the way Dabney kept me updated and made every effort to ensure that I understood everything transpiring in the process. Each time my loan package was kicked out he made sure to contact me and provide me with my options. Every question I had a long the way was honestly answered with patience and thoroughness. Because of my preference we usually corresponded via email but he always made himself available via phone if I had any questions or needed a better understanding of any information he'd provided.. Though the process could have been easier if the government had all their ducks in a row; I can't imagine any way that the customer service could have been improved upon. Unbeknownst to Dabney I'd tried to contact AT LEAST five other companies during the process and not ONE had a loan that could help me with my situation. Superior service, record closing and lowest rate!
After losing bids on at least 7 houses within 6 month period we finally had our offer accepted in a short sale transaction. The house was about to go into a foreclosure, so we had extremely tight turnaround time not to mention all the issues that came up during the transaction, that had to do with delinquent HOA. The best decision my husband and I made was to work with Dabney Martin and FBC Mortgage to obtain our loan. Even though Dabney’s responsibility was just to secure our loan, he went above and beyond in this transaction and truly saved the day. There were a couple of times we feared we would not get the house and he was the one that stepped up and did everything he possible could to help us get our dream home. He is a true professional, with tons of knowledge, but more importantly is the person who genuinely cares about his clients, and not just the transaction.
