Within the past 12 years we bought two houses and refinanced the second with with Dabney Martin of FBC as our loan officer each time. I think we were referred to him the first time in 2003, but we "self referred" ourselves to him the next two times we needed loans. We were highly pleased each time with Mr. Martin's professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to spend time to explain options and make recommendations. We believe he has always acted in our interest and shepherded us through the loan process efficiently and wisely. Of note, we recently found other FBC offices closer to our home than his location in Longwood, FL, but we decided to drive further to have him personally on our loans.

A Loan Officer that truly cares
We cannot say enough good things about Dabney Martin. The is a man that truly looks out for a clients needs. He helped us several times, the first was 2 1/2 years ago to help us out of home that was severely underwater due to the housing crisis and into our current home. His help there alone deserves a huge thanks and plaudits. Earlier this year we had reached out Dabney about the possibility of refinancing our home (mostly to eliminate PMI). We had our doubts as we had only been in the house for such a short time but Mr Martin immediately went to work to find the best possible product for us. When we became overwhelmed due to the impending arrival of our second child in July, Dabney was calm and persistent without being pushy, helping us to ease our fears about the cost (which were non-existent after Mr. Martin worked his magic) and doing everything to help us make it happen. He did this not for profit but because he truly felt it was the best thing for our family. That is a rare thing to find these days. Because of his hard work, we closed before the birth, and our son Daniel arrived on July 10th to a home that has a lower monthly payment and no PMI. Dabney Martin is a gentlemen and miracle worker and we cannot thank him or recommend him enough!!

When all other lenders failed ...
Incorrect credit reporting by my previous lender resulted in my credit reports showing a foreclosure instead of a short sale. Four lenders denied my mortgage application because of the incorrect report. With only weeks before my deal fell apart, we found Dabney and FBC who moved mountains to get me approved at market rates and we closed on time. Life savers! We are eternally grateful. If you had a previous short sale and are looking to buy, I highly recommend you contact Dabney.

Outstanding!
We got to FBC Mortgage Longwood after trying two other lenders and what really made a huge difference was the fact that Dabney Martin did an exceptional job in keeping us up to date throughout the whole process. He communicated with us almost daily, whenever we had a question he replied to our emails almost instantly, even if they were afterhours or during weekend. FBC made the loan process painless and we succesfully closed in our home on time. Fully recommend them.
