Working with Scott and his team was enjoyable. In getting started with the loan process, I was given all the information I needed to make an educated decision about building my first home. They were straight forward with information and estimates. One of the support staff did not impress me with her communication, ability to find submitted documents, providing correct closing costs and waiting to the last minute for details that could have been handled sooner much easier. I had to send 6 months worth of discrepant documentation and emails I received from this individual, which was promptly solved by the Loan Officer in a 30 minute conversation. Overall a wonderful lender. One bad apple didn't ruin the bunch

Fantastic experience
This was our second home purchase in three years. The first was a complete nightmare dealing with a different lender. This time around our builder recommended FBC and I can honestly say, it was the smoothest process. From the initial phone call to prequalify, to the document submission and then through closing, it was relatively hassle free. The team at FBC was constantly in touch with us and kept us informed throughout the whole process. There was a slight delay with the closing time due to some VA paperwork however; the team at FBC really pulled together, came through and pulled it off in a very short timeframe. Closing on a new home is normally a stressful process and after I spoke with them on the phone, both my spouse and I, were very relieved. With both of us being veterans, we have very high expectations when dealing with others, including businesses. The team at FBC really showed their honesty, integrity and appreciation for veterans with their hard work and superfluous customer service. We were both extremely happy with this process and for an office to congratulate you the day of, and the day after closing, it really showed their commitment to their clients and the importance of their satisfaction. Thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication. My family truly appreciates the plethora of effort and service you all provided to us. We would highly recommend FBC to any veterans, or military personnel, looking for a lender. Job well done!!

Our closing process was exhausting and took ~5 weeks due to circumstances that happened along the way, some of then were unforeseen i.e. hurricane Irma. The Stinson team however, was always on top of things, and were always there when we had any questions or concerns.
