I had a great team! Tarah Madden was AWESOME, friendly and relatable! Chris Hartman was my first contact at FBC and he is Amazing. He made me feel comfortable and explained things to me in a way I could understand. He was very patient and I would recommend him to anyone. Matthew Walker was great as well and always responded to me quickly when I had a question.

Overall a good experience
As stated, overall I am pleased with my experience. Nick, Tracey and Matt did a great job, were responsive and helpful. The reason I did not choose 5 stars is not a reflection of them.
Justin's Tip: When requesting information from your clients, put a list together based on the loan type and be specific about the information you need. I was requested to provide information 5 times for one item because the instructions kept changing. This is not a reflection of your team, but rather the process. I was very frustrated at times and felt like the lack of professionalism is this regard was unacceptable.

Very organized process. I have not purchased a home since the 2007/8 Financial Crisis, so I was a bit surprised by the intense level of underwriting. There were meaningful time gaps between information requests. That was a bit frustrating, but I will assume that I was in a queue. Nice job.

I just want to let everyone know that no matter how difficult it is to get a home there is something to always make it better and EASIER for you. FBC mortgage is such a great company, the team I was assigned to were great! They always made sure that you have everything you need and made sure you understand everything, i was always in contact with them and any questions I had they always answered it promptly. I would highly recommend. 10/10

There is a team of officers that we spoke with so it wasn't just one person. Everyone we spoke with was kind and said they wanted this process to be as smooth as possible, however would call at 9:30am and would pressure us to submit documents by noon that same day. Both my fiance and I work full time and do not sit behind a desk all day to submit documents whenever needed. When we would finally submit documents they wouldn't get back to us for a day or two. They also quoted us an incorrect amount needed in our account to submit to the underwriters for approval. The mistake was that of nearly $300. They said that it was a "human mistake" but wouldn't take responsibility for the mistake. We had to push our closing date back due to that mistake. Again, everyone we spoke with was polite however I would advise that people research different lenders first.
