Unethical and unprofessional
Raul's Tip: Return calls in a timely manner and get a new under writer who isn't disrespectful and has some ethics. The only reason I received a loan rate because the builder paid for a lower rate when Navy Federal was offering me the same rate I received from the lender without paying points. When I requested for the underwriters information I was told that it can't be released it isn't confidential. They are processing and making decisions on people's loans. If their behavior is unprofessional I have a right to obtain this person's information to file a complaint. The only good thing was that the loan was process in 11 days.

Mortgage Process
Overall this team could have done a much better job explaining the mortgage process. While I do appreciate their attempt to rectify the situation, I feel Matt should be more involved in his transactions and not rely solely on his assigned team to get his clients to the closing table.

FBC made my buying process so easy and stress free. From the get go, they beat the offer that was given to me by a shady company in Orlando. Matt and Chris were extremely helpful. They got me a great interest rate even when my credit was not perfect, and gave me some goals on how to make my credit better in order to lock in a better rate. Once I hit the goal they locked me in a better rate than what was quoted. We closed the entire deal in about a months time. I am forever greatful to FBC for helping me in buying my dream home.

I felt they were transparent regarding their fees. Most of the application process was automated online which made it very easy to complete all of the steps involved. They were always very quick to respond to any questions and easy to get a hold off.

Five stars aren't enough for Matt Andre and his team. My wife and I weren't actively in the market but decided to view a home just out of curiosity. We fell in love with the house, called Matt after hours, had a preapproval within minutes and keys in our hands in only 30 days! Matt, Steve, Kerri, Tara and Michelle were all quick to communicate with us and worked diligently on our file. This is our second loan with them and we always receive top notch service. Would highly recommend them and FBC Mortgage!
Ryan's Tip: Have your important documents and info ready to go. The more you can provide to the loan team up front, the faster your process will be. We had an electronic file ready to go with PDFs of our tax returns, bank statements, paystubs, etc and were able to hand them everything they needed to work on our file right away.
