I have been in the financial services industry for over 27 years and have done my fair share of real estate financing. As both a professional and as a consumer, this was by far the simplest and fastest conventional mortgage process from start to close that I’ve ever experienced. Kristin Hawkins is extremely professional and delivered on everything she promised.

Kristin from FBC was a great lender to work with. She was communicative and was able to close our loan fairly quick. Rates are competitive and fees are not too bad. I had a great experience not only with Kristin but the entire team she worked with.
Diego's Tip: Have ALL the paperwork ready before going under contract and get paperwork back to them within 12 hrs. That is the best way to secure the loan.

Kristin was extremely helpful and very prompt on preparing all documents and making sure everything was taken care of for me! I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew she was on top of it making sure every aspect of the loan process was taken care of. Every aspect of the process went fast and easy. Very satisfied with the process, but one hangup happened in which we were told we would receive the balance of our escrow account. But instead the escrow balance was transferred on to the new loan.

Smooth and Exceptionally Quick
We ended up needing to close quickly (~ 2 weeks) and our realtor recommended Kristin Hawkins at FBC Mortgage. Things were further complicated by the closing being toward the end of the year with people being out for the holidays. Kristin assured us that she would be able to close on time provided we met certain deadlines on our end. The deadlines allowed us a limited time to shop around, and Kristin was even able to match a competitor's rate (potentially, the rate had just decreased from day to day). After we chose to go forward with her, everything went smoothly. E-signing and uploading documents were all easy through FBC's online portal, and Kristin sent frequent reminders and status updates to keep us on schedule. When we did have a question about the process, she was quick to respond. We closed on time with no serious issue. I would recommend her without reservation.
