Our issues aren't so much with Jeni Pitcher but others who worked on our loan. A couple of the people were very short and demanding on phone calls - no bedside manner whatsoever. And FBC staff kept asking for more and more documentation - it seemed to be never ending. Yes, in the end we got the loan at the rate we were quoted and we closed on time but the hassle of having to provide yet another document was maddening. Our realtor has stated that she will never use FBC based on our experience. She had other clients who closed in half the time as our loan took to process. And if you asked the sellers of the house we bought what they thought I bet they felt the same way. It took way too long! When I move to Florida full time and get my realtor license I doubt I will ever recommend FBC either.
Ernest's Tip: Use someone else other than FBC. They are really slow at what they do. Yes, they need to be thorough but they took that to the extreme.

In all honesty, I would not recommend FBC Mortgage to do business with. It's unfortunate our loan officer has very little people skills, lacks of customer service manner, unreliable and quite frankly unprofessional. If I had the chance to go back and do it all over again, I'd prefer to do my due diligence and done my homework on options. We knew the process on purchasing a home, specifically a new constructed home was not going to be easy, well our loan officer did not make it any better. It's been the most frustrating, aggravating, and to keep it short most stressful thing in our lives dealing with them. Frome day 1 to closing time, it was not easy what so ever. I would recommend if you decide to do business with FBC Mortgage, keep track of all documentation due to the fact they lack there of. The company may be top rated, however, their airplane will not take off with a flat tire. The only bright star during this process was Tiffany Brooks, she was amazing in every sense of the word. Very professional and on top of things when called upon. She's the only reason I rated a star on this review.

Outstanding Customer Service & Attention to Detail
Our Loan Officer, Jennifer Pitcher was wonderful to work with. Considering it took over 9 months to close on our house (short sale). She and her staff were efficient, professional and quick to answer any and all of our questions. The process took a very long time, however, it wasn't on the Mortgage end but the Seller's Short Sale Investors end...We were waiting to close. We have purchased many houses in the past and we would rate this mortgage experience with Jennifer Pitcher and her team at FBC Mortgage the best thus far. I have passed out Jeni's contact information to several friends already. I feel confidient that they too will have a great experience in financing or refinancing their homes.

First time home buyer
I am a first time home buyer and Jennifer really helped me through the process. Whenever I called she either answered right away or got back to me very quickly. She responded to any questions I had by email in a very prompt manner as well. She was always willing to take the time to explain anything that I didn't understand and overall made the whole process as stress free as it could be. I would highly recommend FBC Mortgage to anyone interested in buying a home. The process was very efficient and they worked very hard to maintain our closing date that was only 3.5 weeks after we put in a contract. We closed on time even though many of my friends said that it would probably be pushed back. I attribute this to FBC making sure the whole process runs as efficiently as possible.
