Scott and his team are absolutely amazing at what they do! It really was a dream of mine to purchase a home for my family and a shot in the dark but his team of experts made it all possible. I recommend Johnny as your pre approval representative, he was with me me every step of the way and even available after typical hours so when I got off work I still had time to speak with him and his communication was always timely. Thank you so much!
Melissa's Tip: As a first time home buyer we are naive about how extensive the process of gaining a mortgage is and it would be helpful to explain it all up front including out of packet costs even if your closing costs are covered by the seller.

Great experience
I was so amazed with fbc as they provide you with all the necessary information up front and ready to answer any questions you may have. This was a phenomenal experience for me especially as a first time homebuyer. I couldn’t have chosen anyone else. I am happy I was able to work with fbc for my mortgage! They are very professional and very knowledgeable! Great job fbc keep it up and you will surely be growing due to your committed service!
Marshalee's Tip: Just be prepared for the road and make sure you have all documents upon request. FBC tends to make the process seamlessly so you have no worries.

Accommodating
The team was very accommodating for the most part. During the initial contact to start the loan process, I felt that they were great with communication, however, when it came time for the closing process I felt that they were not very informative with where we were in the process. They requested follow up information (bank statements, pay stubs, etc.), but upon delivering the requested documents to the team I had to conduct my own followup to see if the documents were recieved and what was next. Also, I am not sure how much the team was communicating with Adams Homes about the progress of the home. I am only going off a hunch because our closing had to happen on the 8th of April in order to prevent from having to resubmit the same requested documents about our bank and employment. The house was not ready and we could not close any sooner than the 8th which leads me to believe that our rate lock-in should have happened a week or two later than it did.
Amanda's Tip: Make the closing process a little more informative and communicate better with the clients.

Fast Closing
The Stinson Team was very professional and helpful for the most part. There were a few hiccups due to our unique situation but they managed to worked through the kinks quickly and we ended up closing as scheduled. They were pretty flexible when necessary so happy to have worked with them.

FBC Review
The initial process for the application went smoothly. However, my original loan processor left the company and after that communication went down hill quickly. I had to call/email about everything or there would be no communication at all. When it was time to lock down my rate, I wanted to take time to think about my options. And I was basically told, if you take too long, you could delay your closing. I had actually contacted my loan processor a week beforehand because I knew my closing was coming and the rate was not discussed, nor locked down. So I was on top of things and they were lagging extremely and then tried to pressure me. Overall, I was not satisfied with this lender's communication or approach to communication.
Kia's Tip: Be proactive about everything you need in advance as communication is lacking between this company and borrowers, as well as communication between the different people assisting on your loan within the company.

Home built through Adams Homes
Beyond helpful, Ashley was absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. I called him all the time with dumb questions and he never was annoyed or frustrated, he was always professional and kind. I can't say enough great things about him. Jackie, Brad, Keagan, all great. The best financing experience we have ever had. We had a builder delayed closing and the entire team at FBC was super supportive and just great advocates for us to see us in our home quickly.
Erin's Tip: Get your information in ASAP. If you are questioning a decision, document, etc. call because what seems harmless could really hurt your loan process.
