I've had the displeasure of dealing with not ONE good loan officer ever until Kim. Anytime of the day or night and even when I was frustrated, Kim answered my calls and responded to my emails; all while remaining highly professional and pleasant. Kim made the difference in my loan process! Companies that want to improve customer service should come to FBC and take lessons and observe Kim.

FBC Survey
FBC mortgage process was very easy, as they requested documents, I was able to send them via email, electronic or fax. There were documents at closing that I felt not necessary since I already completed them electronic. Duplicate forms.

Kim was absolutely great - I own my own business and she understand the interrelationships and complexities between my business world (corporation) and personal world without me having to explain them. She quickly dissected the tax returns and pulled it together well!

Glad the process is over
The whole precess was very cumbersome and at the very end they did not allow some of my income even though they needed all supporting documents many times months before. So they lead me to believe it that it would figure into the approval. Why wasn't this figured out sooner to save me from submitting all the paperwork and then adjusting my income from IRA"S at the very end? There was definitely a breakdown in communication at your financial institution. I do believe thisWAS NOT Kim Dorsett's fault but the person who did the final review in a non timely manner.

Kim and Amanda did a great job. I felt well informed through out the entire process. I have bought and sold many homes, and one of the best things about this transaction was that I only had to send documents one time. In past experiences with other companies I have had to send in the same thing over and over. Kim and Amanda never asked me for something I already sent. After my experience with FBC Mortgage I can't imagine how anyone would use a big bank to close on a mortgage. The service we received through FBC was professional, quick, and personal. Amanda (our Loan Coordinator) was amazing with communicating with us. We never felt like we were a file number or just business. When it came time to close, I felt the utmost confidence that the number were correct and that I was getting the best rate possible. I definitely would return to FBC for future business.
Kimberly's Tip: In order to close on-time be sure to gather all your documents and have them handy ahead of time.
