As a realtor, I've referred Kim for over 5 years. We've worked long days, late nights, and long weekends working on our Buyers loans. So when it came to my mortgage, Kim was the one I trusted. Kim is known throughout central Florida and her re*****tion in Sarasota county is meticulous. I don't know how she sleeps because she's always working. She's quick to respond to emails, phone calls, and she's brilliant maneuvering in multiple ways to save you money.

Good service, very responsive
I am completely satisfied with the loan I received and the service during the process. Both broker and processor were quick to respond to questions or requests. I do have some constructive criticism; I think the processor/broker need to work more closely with underwriting to resolve any questions pertaining to paperwork submitted. I think this cooperation could make the process easier for the client.

FBC made my first mortgage experience great!
FBC was one of the preferred lenders that my builder used. Because there were financial incentives to go with them, and also my loan processor, Amanda Spohr, was so quick and helpful throughout the prequal process, we decided to select them as our lender of choice. I was very happy to see that many, if not all, of the documents could be handled electronically given that I live in another city. I was able to send all of my documents in a PDF file and get the loan approval process started within 24hrs of signing the purchase contract. Between Kim Dorsett and Amanda Spohr, I always had an open line of communication with FBC and always felt in the loop. When it came time to close, there were no surprises and everything was quick and painless. I highly recommend FBC mortgage as a lender, and am happy they made my first home purchase so easy!! Thanks to Kim, Amanda, and the entire FBC mortgage team!
Thomas's Tip: Get FBC the documents they request within a timely manner and you'll have as quick and painless of an experience as I did! Electronically submitting docs makes the process so fast. Check your email, and return phone calls promptly. The quicker your respond the quicker they can get your loan processed.

Kim seemed to never stop answering emails, very dedicated and professional! We had a lot of concerns with the purchase of our new home, yes there was a lot of paperwork requested and some upsetting emails that we took the wrong way sometimes because we didn't understand the full process. With worry of something coming up that would keep us from getting the loan Kim was very quick to reassure us it would work out. Thanking her for making us comfortable.
