I LOVED STEPHANIE FERA AS MY LOAN OFFICER. SHE WAS GREAT. HELPED ME THROUGH ALL OF IT. LYNNE DOVER (LOAN PROCESSOR) WAS HORRIBLE. SHE DID NOT SEND IN MY INFORMATION TO THE UNDERWRITER IN A TIMELY MANNER WHEN I GOT IT TO HER ASAP. I CONTACTED STEPHANIE AND SHE GOT IT DONE WITHIN 24 HOURS AND SAID ALL WAS FINE TO CLOSE, WHILE I HAD WAITED WEEKS FROM LYNNE. LYNNE DID NOT SEEM ORGANIZED AND SHE COULDN'T ADD UP MY SAVINGS ACCOUNTS CORRECTLY, TELLING ME THEY WERE "MISSING" SOMETHING IN MY ACCOUNTS AND THE UNDERWRITER THEREFORE DID NOT SEE ENOUGH MONEY FOR CLOSING- BUT I HAD THE MONEY (JUST DISORGANIZED BY LOAN PROCESSOR). THIS WAS RIDICULOUS. SHE WAS VERY SLOW WITH EVERYTHING BUT I AM GLAD STEPHANIE FERA CAME TO THE RESCUE AND HELPED ME OUT - SHE IS VERY SWEET AND WORKS HARD AT WHAT SHE DOES.

Ignorance isn't bliss
When we first started our lending relationship we were in contact with Stephenie. She got back to us in a timely manner and answered most of our questions clearly as we were first time home buyers and didn't know anything about it. But once we put an offer on a house and we began the closing process we were turned over to Loni, who getting a clear answer from or getting an answer at all was almost like pulling teeth. We would send an email asking for a response to a question and then receive no answer so we would have to send another email asking to answer the previous email. This happened several times. But whenever Loni would send us an email she would need a response and sometimes documents of a sensitive nature by the end of the day, which aren't always easy to get while you work until later hours. One time towards the end of the closing date we asked if there was anything else we needed and she said no and when we replied back we got an automatic email saying she would be out of the office until Monday. This was Thursday. Monday comes and goodness knows she needed urgent materials again that we had asked about on Thursday and could have gotten taken care of over the weekend. In the end everything worked out and we got our house but it was an extremely stressful process due to lack of communication. Thank got we won't be doing it again for a very long time.

Excellent Service from an Out of State Lender
I chose an out of state lender because of the special loan program called Home Steps that is not yet available in the State of Wisconsin. This was an FHA loan in which I was immediately pre-approved for. My Loan Officer, Stephanie Fera was the greatest! From day one Stephanie was in constant contact with me, sending information, checking on my progress with the home search and offering her assistance. She even gave me a list of the documents I would need when I was ready to apply for the loan; this gave me a head start in gathering the necessary information. Upon finding a home and finally applying for the loan, Ms. Fera was with me all the way. She explained everything to me in detail and was a constant e-mailer. I could not be happier with the service I received. Home Loans Today, as a Lender made the process easy, the down payment was low and I was informed immediately when interest rates dropped; I was able to secure my loan at a much lower interes rate than I expected. I would highly recommend this Lender and Ms. Fera to anyone who is looking for great customer service.
