Ok job
I would send emails and get responses that I would get a call back in a few hours, but it would be days. One time it was because rates were going up soon, I did not receive a response until after the rates went up. This may have cost me a lot of money. I have been in the industry for over a decade, so luckily I was familiar with the documents because I never got an explanation on any of it.

Fbc lack of communciation
In the very beginning things were great and Lynn always contacted me back even after hours on her own time. But towards the most important point communciation with fbc was a nightmare. I'm not sure if the employees are under staffed but it is very hard to get thru to them when a problem arises. For the final 2 weeks of the closing process my stress level was thru the roof because of fbc and there lack of communciation and they would wait until the last minute for information and then put it on the consumers shoulders for being responsible for timely manner.
Evan's Tip: Don't use fbc unless your able to spend time off to go down to local office to communciate

Friendly and helpful staff
I had a great experience closing on my loan with FBC. The staff that I spoke with were all very friendly and helpful. Lynn took the time to go over all the different options with me for the loan type and terms. I feel like I got a mortgage that I am happy with and things went very smoothly.

Review for Loan
Great service. Lynn was very helpful and clarified lots questions that first time homeowners are expected to have. The interest rate was a bit high at one point, but she managed to bring it down to a rate my wife and I were comfortable with. Overall, it was a great experience and great service. I have already referred out to a family member.
Antonio's Tip: Patience. The loan process is very engaging and can be overwhelming at times. Be patient and ask questions to help you with process.

Stressful experience
This is not totally on Lynn and the other ladies in loop but as whole this was a very unprofessional organization. They kept requesting documents right up to closing. The most stressful part was receiving an email the day before closing asking for my divorce papers from 15 years ago. Originally they indicated this was needed to provide my ex-wife did not receive any of proceeds from my home sale in 2016. I already provided the sales disclosure so they could see I was single when the house was sold. They also had 3 years of tax returns and a credit report. Now they state they need to prove there are no minor children that I'm supporting. The problem with this is I did not have the documents they are stored in a POSITION. So had no way to get them and also working the whole day. This would stop the closing and I went to bed not sure if the closing would happen. Not a good feeling. It turned out to be okay but will not recommend this company to friends and family.

Could have been a better buying experience
It seemed like Fbc procrastinated through the whole process everything was last minute even though I tried to stay on top of them to get stuff to them early. Hard to get ahold of them even through phone and email it made this buying process more stressful then it needed to be
Christopher's Tip: Stay on top of you deal with even if calling them till they pick up the phone don't give them a inch

New Home
This was suppose to be an exciting time our life. The process started out ok but ended up feeling like a nightmare with all the back and forth. The requesting of documents over and over again that had already been sent in. It was also hard to get a hold of Lynn. I understand you get busy but at least acknowledge us and give us a quick email. If it wasn't for Barbara Gonzalez stepping in and assisting us I don't think things would have been resolved on time for our closing.
Lloyd's Tip: Please keep the customers in the loop of what is going on and make sure you communicate with the people you work with.

Great Service
