Great, Stress free process!!
Working with Lynn Tosi was a pleasure from start to finish, although applying for a mortgage is a process. Lynn is a straight shooter and very informative with any and all questions. She responded to all inquiries in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend her and FBC Mortgage to anyone in the market for a mortgage.

Alone/Frustrated
Buying a new house from MARONDA was a painful process.Communication was sporadic.When I call they directed the calls to another person.They lost two checks for down payment, and I need to submitted bank evidence for the cashed checks.Never offer the opportunity to negotiate costs involved, including almost $9,000.00 to an agent that I didn't hired. Closing was a nightmare, it was 4:30 p.m. and I didn't know the exact $$ amount to present at the closing.Finally the closing was held after 6:30 p.m. four hours after scheduled time.That meeting was a positive experience.

Run away like you saw the plague
My experience with Lynn Tosi at FBC mortgage was horrible. We decided to go with them in November of 2019 since they were offering the most competitive rates with Maronda homes as our builder. When information was requested from us as the consumer all documents were provided within a 24 hour span and calls returned in a timely manner. Fast forward to March of 2020 our home was supposed to be ready first week of May still hadn't heard anything from our loan processor. Made the outreach to her only for her response to be everything is on track nothing new needed from your side. Due to the Negligence provided from Lynn closing on our home was the worst experience we've ever had. The experience wasn't horrible because of documents requested or items questioned.But because of the lack of concern or care for us as the consumer. She was extremely rude and unresponsive to emails or phone calls. In one of our conversations were a breakdown was requested for clarity her response was "It's in the email I sent you read it". Our closing was at 12pm on Thursday May 14th the title company did not receive the appropriate documents from FBC until 4pm that evening. FBC deliberately held the documents and waited till the last minute to request information from other 3rd party companies. At which point in time we were rushed through all paper work without a through explanation of what we were signing. We had to follow someone for keys an hour out of our way, still have no information on how to receive mail, and were not allowed to complete our survey appropriately because of their rush. This mortgage company has left an abominable taste in my mouth and we do not plan on recommending them to anyone. For the amount the contributed towards closing cost we were better off changing them for Navy Federal.
Jashima's Tip: Avoid them unless you are assigned to a manager from the very beginning.

Great Company
At first, it seemed as if the process was rocky, we didn't have a lot of communication with FBC but once the building process for our home was completed we were in constant communication with FBC. They helped us along the way even with the current pandemic and the feeling if uncertainty Lynn and her colleagues kept us informed every step of the way until we closed.
Roniel's Tip: If you feel uncertain or have any questions, just call FBC even if you do not get a hold you loan officer other employees are just as qualified to help.

My Husband and I closed on our first home with FBC mortgage. Our loan officer was Mrs. LynnTosi and she was phenomenal! Very professional, informative, and knowledgeable of the entire process. Anytime we contacted her with a question, she was there to answer, rather it was via email, phone call, or text message. We are so grateful for her and her entire team! Loan Process and Officer
The process and Loan officer were very helpful and smooth. The loan officer was communicative and we would constantly receive emails on what we needed and video instructions which really helped through out the process. There were some minor set backs on how the loan works but in the end everything was able to fold properly for the closing.

FBC Mortgage company is the best customer friendly company I've ever had the pleasure of securing a home loan. Though I experienced many problems and made numerous requests to speak to a corporate representative of the builder of my new home, the representatives of FBC was always willing to assist me in forwarding my concerns to the builder. FBC returned my calls in a timely manner making me feel that they really valued me. They even assisted me in relaying my concerns to the builder when I got no response from the builder's supervisor about my concerns. Lynn Tosi, my loan officer was always there for me and kept me informed throughout my extensive wait for the building of a second home after the first signing went terribly wrong. FBC was the catalyst that kept me from walking away from the builder. Accolades to Lynn and her team for showing genuine customer friendly loyalty and service. If it had not been for the friendliness and attentiveness to the stressful situation I was going through, I would have cancelled this home purchase and went to another builder.
