Scott made decisions for us, they ended up being the correct decisions in the end. However, we would have wanted more clmmunication and incite on what our options are. It seemed like we had to ask the questions if we wanted more information. Overall, It was manageable but nonetheless unnecessary.

In my opinion, some of the documentation requested was seemed to be overly compliant with the requirements to process the loan. A summary should be provided when sending customers multiple documents to esign.

Complicated Situation, Simplified to a outstanding outcome
As expats with no US credit history for +25 years FBC was able to find a bank that specialized in international mortgages and managed the rather different process concisely with a positive result. Always available to answer our questions and provide clarification of the process, FBC truly offers a personalized, vested service. In addition to the highly professional attitudes the FBC team are genuinely nice people. We would highly recommend FBC to anyone in the market for a mortgage in their service areas.
Eric's Tip: Make sure you have your paperwork in order. FBC will walk you through everything you need to provide and do not mind you asking questions. The faster you are able to provide the specific documentation the more efficiently FBC can act on the requirements of the bank.

Monfried review
Processor made certain "assumptions" that were incorrect; I was told nine days before scheduled closing that closing might therefore be delayed. Day OF closing was told mortgage was in "final review" an hour before scheduled closing. When I asked why this "final review" has not occurred day before, was told "we have 30,000 loans here and it's the end of the month." Intolerably poor service, customer concern, and attitude.
