Worst lender ever ! ! ! ! ! - do NOT use fbc !
Worst lender ever - they had 12 weeks but waited until 3 weeks to go to start the review causing so much stress for my family !
Charisma's Tip: they had 12 weeks but they chose to wait until 3 weeks to go to start the review causing so much stress for my family ! ..... it was all last minute, and if I had not stayed up until 2am preparing the ridiculous number of documents - 63 to be exact - then we would not have closed on time - they kept requesting documents until the last minute rather than use the 12 weeks they had ... if there was a ZERO star then I would have chose that or lower !

Matthew did an awesome job for me. He took time to explain certain aspects that were critical and made me feel like a person rather than a loan number. My processor Lisa Singley, made sure my documents was in order and made everything presentable. This is coming from a First Time Home Buyer.

Great service and communications
I was very pleased with all of my interactions with Matt, my Loan Officer and Elaine, my processor; the team made sure that everything went very smoothly to prepare for my close. There was excellent communications on what was needed and next steps in the process. Matt was quick to respond to all of my questions and went out of his way to get me timely answers. My real estate agent also told me how impressed she was with the FBC team and process compared to other mortgage companies she deals with and that she would include FBC in referrals to her other clients.

Overall Matthew was very good. The reason I did not give 5 stars is strictly for the fact that he is not always the easiest to reach, and there was a lack of communication when it came to the fact that at the original time of closing the loan had not been received by the title company.

Without Mark Minadeo I would give zero stars
My experience is absolutely terrible. Poor communication and organization. Mark Minadeo had to come in a fix my file. Delivering documents after hours with no way to ask questions. Asking for documents after getting a closing disclosure. Without him I’m not sure I would have ever closed.
