This team is awesome! I was working with another mortgage broker going round and round and I switched to these guys midway. They truly are a team; there is always someone available to help you and they perform like a well oiled machine. My loan was somewhat complicated because I was rolling in a renovation along with the new mortgage. They closed it in under 30 days and made it seem easy! They are great! My loan processor, Pat Collini, was especially terrific!

Took Far Longer than it Should Have
All was well until just a few days before I was scheduled to close. It was only then that they realized they didn't have the correct information from the condo association. While I understand that they were waiting on information from a 3rd party, I felt that they should have made an effort to reconcile the situation in a more timely manner. Each time I found out a piece of information, it was because I called them, not because they reached out to me. This was incredibly frustrating because I explicitly requested that they keep me updated on anything that could possibly delay the closing, as I would have to make arrangements with my former rental condo and several other services. After all was said and done, I ended up closing a week late.
Sara's Tip: Don't wait for them to give you the information. Instead, be sure to keep checking up to make sure that everything is on track the week leading up to closing.

Wonderful experience with Josh's team at FBC Mortgage
We have been trying for a few years to refinance our jumbo loan but, with the housing market values down, were finding it impossible. Josh's team kept in touch with us for more than a year and touching base with us to see if we thought our property values were changing so that they might help us with our refinance. Our specific situation required creativity and perseverance; Josh brought both to the table. He was both patient and understanding. I never felt pressured as one can with a salesman, but only as if I was speaking with a caring professional.
