To make this long story…long. From the very first day I talk with Luis he made sure I understood by explaining the process. Any questions I asked he had an answer. I will use Luis as my loan officer again and recommend him a thousand more times. When Luis gave me my first yes I was pretty much sure I will get a few more yesss from him. I’m not your “Bud”
After carefully vetting several local Pensacola lenders I chose Shevlin Pierce Lockler (excellent during our short time together) from FBC Mortgage. Ten days later she left FBC for another company, but assured me that I was “in good hands” with Sam Davis. Sam’s team was adequate, but there were some emails sent to me noting a delay for “VA approval” (this was a conventional loan). This added unnecessary stress to an already tight closing schedule, as I had to contact the various parties to correct the error. Each time I interacted with Sam he seemed disinterested and addressed me as “Bud”. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer “Sir” or “Mr.”, especially from someone working for me. Unimpressed.
