Disappointed
The biggest issue we ran into with this mortgage company was that my wife and I wanted to put down more money on our home loan to lower the monthly payment. This was communicated to the loan team but this didn't happen.

Tiffany's Tip: We had a hard time gathering our W2's. You can get a W2 transcript from the IRS online and get it within seconds rather than wait for it in the mail!

Unprofessional and Poor Follow Up
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! If I could rate this a 0 star I would. Patrick is very unprofessional and Extremely poor follow up. 60 days.. that’s what it took pretty much for us to get a response back because I took it upon myself to call the manager of the state of Oklahoma pretty much his bosses boss. Patrick would tell me numerous times he would have numbers and contact me that evening, then I would hear NOTHING. When I would call or follow up and NOT A WORD. I had to cancel 2 different Zoom Meetings with our investor because Patrick ONCE AGAIN never responded back when he said he would. He was also VERY unprofessional to our insurance agent when our agent reached out for an update because SURPISE, Patrick was not responding nor updating anyone. I have screen shots of all of these unprofessional conversations, lack of follow up, and numerous emails where he said he would follow up with my husband that evening and NOTHING. When all of this COVID stuff ends we will be looking at different Mortgage Companies because I do not trust a single word Patrick says and honestly don't want to have to deal with his lies and unprofessionalism anymore.

Bad experience
If you work with FBC, I definitely would not recommend Patrick Chicklinski. He’s only getting one star because zero isn’t an option. Poor communication throughout the process on something that took entirely too long from the start. Will never go through him again.

Outstanding service
Working with Rob Grimes made the refi on our home a smooth process. He was quick to respond to our requests and followed up with us every step of the way. Always available if we needed to call him. This isn't the first time we've refi'd but is our first time with FBC Mortgage. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing a loan or refi.

Overall Experience
My overall experience was ok. My agent Nate was good at first. However, as time went on I feel my needs or questions was not in his best interest and I felt that critical information I was needing was never relayed to me and less than 2 hours from closing I still did not have the actual amount I needed at closing. Patrick was good in the brief time I talked to him. I was not impressed with Nate and overall FBC was good but the individual that was running my paperwork was not. I would still recommend to future clients.

Refi
After a long journey attempting to do a fast track refi and making little process I reached out to Patrick about doing a conventional loan. His knowledge and expeditious efforts moved us from app to close in less then two weeks. Thanks again Patrick for all the hard work.
