Marta helped my husband and I in sexuring our beautiful Brand New home in St. Augustine Fl. There were so many hurdles throughout the process ONLY due to COVID 19. Marta was always understanding and very very helpful throughout the entire process. Her job was in no way easy to say the least. Marta really came through on clksing day as well. She went out of the scope of her duties and ensured that we got the keys to our house on closing day as it was looking likenyet Another delay in closing due to COVID 19. Marta really cares about her clients and is very passionate abkut her job! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING MARTA!!! WE ARE LOVING OUR NEW HOME!!!

Good process
After I changed my Loan Originator I was very happy. The Loan Originator I had originally did not know my home location, name or when I was closing. Just basic information she could not get it all straight. To me this was reflected in their level of service. Once I switched I had a more competent, service oriented Loan Originator. I was very happy working with Marta. She was very responsive and talked through all my questions.

Unprofessional
Loan officer had excuses for everything. If she was so overwhelmed she should have had someone deliver the message. I know she had multiple people that worked with her. I had text and emails from people who were dealing with my loan that I never talked to. The other person stated she couldn’t answer certain questions and would let Marta know. Then the message never got delivered or Marta didn’t remember the question. The day of the closing we were told to bring money to the closing. Never heard about bringing money to our closing. The title company stated that we should have gotten paperwork about what to bring to closing and had someone to go over the documents prior to closing. Nope, that didn’t happen. Our loan got sold to another company and then resold back to Jet loans. This was a disaster and stressful.

Had Higher Expectations
The saying to never climb the mountain before the project is finished, because the fall is harder to endure, stands true to this whole situation. Nobody talked with each other and everyone was quick to blame the other. I don't know if Marta is over worked and responsible for to many clients but maybe that is something you need to look into. The process was one struggle after the other. We have closed on several houses through the years and this one was the worst!
Jennifer's Tip: communicate with everyone involved and keep up with the changing paperwork don't ask to have everything sent in and not get to it in time and have to send all new follow through, if you lock the rate, lock the PMI
