Loan officer was good, issues with fbc itself tho
I have no complaints for the loan officer I had. He was knowledgeable and quick but the hold ups and frustrations were with other departments within FBC. Specifically the insurance section. It would take too long to go in detail but the experience made me almost want to just get a new lender altogether.
Meghan's Tip: Make sure YOU do your due diligence. Some things only got done because I spent hours dealing with multiple people to make up for company shortcomings.

Kyle helped my customers through the whole process! He did their preapproval on a Saturday evening because that is the only time my customer was free. He constantly updated my customers on the process and made it very easy for them. I had no issues getting the contract to close and we even closed within 20 days! Kyle is literally the best loan officer and is always there for his customers! I will use him on all of my future loans. The best part is he showed up to closing too! Many loan officers dont do this anymore. Great loan officer!

Kyle Straub made buying this home a BREEZE!
This was our first time purchasing a home, scary! Naturally, you hear stories about how daunting this task of purchasing a home can be, especially the financial aspect. We found a house we liked, and saw Kyle's online marketing, so we reached out. He promptly called within 30 minutes and we had a quick 20-30 minute phone call where he gathered our information, then we were off! He quickly sent over a pre-approval and we began negotiations with our builder. For the 6 weeks we were under contract, Kyle made every effort to keep us in the loop on our loan status. I am not surprised that we were able to close a day earlier than scheduled because KYLE WAS ON TOP OF THINGS! Whenever processing needed additional information, Kyle clearly explained why and helped us work through it! On closing day, Kyle met us at the title company and made himself available for questions, it was great to have his support in our corner. Kyle was genuine from day one to closing day, that made this process easy. When we buy our next house, Kyle will be our lender!! No question about that. Thank you Kyle Straub!!
