Finally a Lender for Graduate Students!
Enrico's Tip: I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Florida and I am funded by my graduate program as well as nationally competitive doctoral fellowships. I went through 3 other lenders to only find out that they would not accept my stipend as income. Eric at FBC said that he has worked with graduate students in the past and that he could help me out. After submitting my documents I was pre-approved and once I found a home everything went smoothly. I will be recommending FBC to other graduate students in the future!

Overall Satisfied
The process of obtaining a loan is a stressful time when trying to purchase a home. Even though we are satisfied with the overall experience, everything didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked. My wife and I were referred to FBC Mortgage by our real estate agent. We compared a couple different companies and this one was the only that allowed us to go through a first time homebuyer program for a lower down payment. The communication process was challenging at times. It was also challenging through the underwriting because of new system software updates that made it very tough to obtain a loan. At the end of the process, it was nice to meet our loan officer for the first time at closing. We were overall satisfied because of the lower down payment we were approved for with the first time homebuyer program.

From the moment we started the home buying process, Eric was our guy. He constantly was available, whether it was phone, text, email, etc. He made the whole process run so smoothly, even when their were obstacles in our path. From start to finish, Eric was always ready to help and assist my wife and I in our new home purchase. When roadblocks presented themselves, Eric always knew how to navigate around them to make everything as smooth as possible. He was always available, whether it was phone, text or email. Not only that, but he got us a great rate on our Mortgage, helped us save money in other areas before closing, and was just a terrific presence throughout the process. Very tenacious

First Time Homebuyer
Eric is by far the best loan officer. He seriously made this process as stress free as it can be. He prepared me with the items I would need up front resulting in my closing being less than three. He also worked efficiently closing by our closing date because we had to be out of the apartment we subleased by that date. We closed and were able to move in on the same date. I am thankful for his expertise and reassuring us throughout the process. There were also discrepancies on my credit report that belonged to my husband and he was able to communicate that to the reporting company. I am grateful that Eric was our loan officer. He is also a very awesome person, who is truly dedicated to helping every client. He replied to emails while on vacation and that's something I don't think I'd ever do.

After an internet lending left us high and dry, 5 weeks into the process, having done absolutely nothings, we were less than 4 weeks from closing on a VA loan. Eric Remy was recommended to us by our realtor. Not only did he work extremely hard for us, but he made the impossible possible, met the closing date, and made the mortgage loan happen, beginning to end, and closed, in less than 3 weeks on a VA LOAN!
