Excellent Customer Service
I am extremely grateful and satisfied with the excellent customer service I received from Eric. Eric was patient. detailed and took time to answer and address all questions throughout the process. He was responsive and has a good grasp of the process and was able to articulate it. I must say that not having a great deal of knowledge about FBC prior to my loan, it was a seamless process and I will be directing colleagues to Eric Dubose. Eric thanks for getting me into the home with minimal interruptions. Eric tool to time to show comparative rates with different types of loans and provided pros and cons to each. Excellent Customer Service and I closed on time within 45 minutes.
Brian's Tip: Organize all of your documents and be prepared to be responsive in order to make the process seamless. If you are unsure about something, do not hesitate to question your loan office.

Great customer Relations
My loan officer was Eric Debose and he has been in the business well over 20 years! I will say he is straight to the point. He is very transparent. For the most part he will answer any question's you have even advise you of things you don't think to ask! He really knows the business and he wants you as a client happy at the end of the day. If your a first time homebuyer he will do everything in his power to guide you and keep you informed when its needed. I would also like to acknowledge my loan Processor Felicia Neal. When I tell you this lady has been very on point with handling business. When she send you an email it's grind time get it to her in a timely manner asap. She will answer her phone right away, she responds to her email instantly. She strives for excellence and she is amazing!!! I'm very happy with their services overall!

Good Experience with FBC Mortgage
My loan officer, Mr. DuBose was very knowledgeable and offered good advice with some of my credit concerns. The other professionals I had the opportunity to work with at FBC were also very helpful, especially, the Team Loan Mortgage Originator, Ms. Gail Mollenkopf. Ms. Gail answered all of my e-mails, all of my telephone calls and even allowed me to cry when I didn't think I would be able to get a home for my kids and I. She was so very patient with me and directed me the entire time through this at times stressful process. I got really lucky to have someone with such a kind heart & actually CARED about WHY I was trying so hard to get a home for me and my two children. Words can't express how GRATEFUL I am for all the advice, assistance and concern, Ms. Gail showed towards me during this hard process. FBC did a wonderful thing when they hired her. Not only does she know her job very well, but, she cares about the consumer; and that's a hard combination to get. Lisa Stewart was my Loan Processor; and unfortunately, I didn't build a rapport with her, but, we did communicate via e-mail and I got her the documentations she requested.

An okay experience
As a first time home buyer, I was beyond excited to purchase my new home! The reason I went with fbc was because the townhome was offering a special where they would pay all your closing costs! Awesome right? Well also being so naive and learning the process, I put a lot of trust in my loan officer, who ended up deceiving me in the end. Because of the great deal on the townhomes, everyone in the area was inclined to work with this lender. I feel as though Mr. DuBose became lazy with his job and took his time to do everything. With that, his boss was able to speed up the process and get my loan completed in a timely matter. For that reason, my rating isn’t lower. Upon closing, I also realized there were things missing in my closing disclosure that were promised by Mr. DuBose. When I asked him about what we had talked about, (after closing) he said, “look at your closing disclosure!” Maybe that was his way of coping with the fact that he lied to me without Blatantly saying so. My loan was great, I did get a good interest rate, thanks to my credit score. There were no complaints on that end. Everyone on his team, especially Vickie worked hard to make his errors correct and the process smooth for me! I would not have continued with this lender if it wasn’t for them. Based on my experience, I am likely to use fbc on my next home, I just will definitely do more research on the loan officer first!
Sabrina's Tip: Do not use loan officers who were hired by a housing company/builder they are lazy and think they know everything.

Great Experience
Eric Dubose is both professional and knowledgeable in the loan process. I was uncertain what to expect because I had owner financing and I wanted to refinance at a more favorable rate. From the very beginning Eric shared his knowledge and expertise on exactly what steps to take for me to refinance my home. He walked me through the entire process explaining each step. Kimberly Jones the processor was also patient and diligent in advising me exactly what documents to provide to complete the process. Finally, Sylvia Jones the closing attorney was very thorough and in-depth in explaining the documents to finalize the refinance. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I was extremely pleased and impressed with Eric Dubose and his team and their level of professionalism and expertise.
