Robert's Tip: Be prepared to supply various documents. You should keep 2 years tax returns handy any time you apply for a mortgage with any company. Respond in a timely manner to requests to keep the process moving.

the whole team was very friendly and professional. They were able to assist us through all of the delays we experienced (with our buyer) and make the whole process as easy and painless as possible. Any questions we had along the way were answered in a timely and clear manner. Our only regret is that we were never able to meet any of the mortgage team. Where to start? Bambi, Heidi, and Kyle were are very nice and easy to work with. The process itself though was grueling for the FHA loan. There were a few times where I was asked for info/documents that I had already provided, as well as times where we were surprised because certain things weren't disclosed upfront, such as paying for the appraisal BEFORE even starting the building process. Also, the mortgage insurance is for the life of the loan, not until 20% of the appraised value is paid in like a conventional loan. I was also told that FBC services their own loans; however, at closing, we were informed that our loan would be services by some other company.
