So easy
Adam Mervine and the FBC Mortgage group made my 1st home purchase easy! He set me up for success by requesting all documentation early on in the process, so I didn't have to scramble. He made a very overwhelming process not so overwhelming and it allowed me to focus on the house search. We closed on time and it was simple. Everything was explained in great detail and all of my questions were answered without hesitation. Communication is the biggest factor in this process and Adam was great. He responded on weekends, mornings, nights, and all times in between. I would definitely recommend him!

Disappointed
As a first time home buyer and someone who had 8 months to wait for their house to be built, you would think your Loan Officer would guide you in what needed to be done. This wasn't the case for us. When checkin my credit in December Adam noticed a card that was not being used, but failed to mention anything to me about using it so the score would continue to be there. Then 1.5 months before closing on our house he rechecked my credit (only because I had asked about rates and had noticed them going down) and told me I had NO score at all. He didn't care to help me in finding a way to help me get my score back, but rather told me I would need 25% down and at a much higher rate than what was offered before. Luckily with some guidance from another mortgage company they suggested I open a secured card, which in fact helped me have my score back. On top of all this getting in contact with Him to ask him about any movement in the score or other options he took his time getting back to me, but when it came to getting his information. He wanted and NEEDED it right away!
