FBC loan office was thorough and responsive. The loan process was simple and I felt they cared for ever step along the way. However, my main concern was basically ignored,...getting a rate that was competitive with other area banks, Wells Fargo, BOA, SunTrust TD Bank ALL had better rates and some much better. I feel that I wil spend over $6500 more in payments in the first 5 years and thats unacceptable.

Mark was very helpful through out the process. He understands that building a house is full of surprises and was patient and helpful from beginning to closing when it changed from Dec to Jan to Feb 13 to Feb 19 from 2pm to 11am.
Michael's Tip: contact loan officer early and often. Mark stayed on top of fluctuating interest rates and suggested when to wait and when to lock in.

He was very professional and optimistic. After the first meeting in his office I was very happy because I knew I went to the right place. It had been more than a year since my wife and I were trying to buy a new home. We had been turned down by most banks and we could not find a decent house. One day, we decided to buy from the builder and we chose Minto. That was the best decision that we have ever made. The process was straightforward. As for financing, everything went so well. From the beginning Mark and his team assured us that we would be able to get financing. They answered all of our questions and they returned our calls in a timely manner. When it came the time for closing, everything happened as planned. I would suggest to anyone who is looking to buy a new home to use FBC Mortgage especially to choose Mark Minadeo as his or her loan officer. I believe FBC is one of the best lender out there.

Moving from the Midwest to FL was a daunting task. Getting our mortgage was not. Mark was extremely thorough, prompt and patient. They were very helpful and so pleasent to deal with. They were always in contact with us when in need of any documents. They had our paperwork on time as well in regards to our closing.
Peggy's Tip: Just send the paperwork that they request to them and all will go very well for you. There may be times when you may have to send duplicates, but do not let this upset you.
