The closing was done on time and from the convienance of my primary residence in New York. I was able to scan any necessary documents and the loan officer and staff made the processes smooth and painless. The loan officer was extremely courteous.
Vincent's Tip: You can do most everything online, but if you don't have a computer the loan officer expedited everything via FedEX.

Not Again
The loan process started off pretty well, but as it come closer to closing, FBC just didn't seem to have their act together. Asking for more and more information with only 4 days left to closing; Cancelled 2 closing dates because they weren't ready; Then they begin to treat me as though it was my fault the closings were cancelled. Our new neighbors said they had a similar issue with FBC. If asked; 'would you recommend FBC to a friend'? the answer would be absolutely NOT! The only reason I gave the extra star, is because it is over.
Lawrence's Tip: Breath, and be ready for a rough ride. They will test your patients.

Not so happy with FBC
We had no problem with Keri. However, Raquel was another story. We would have repeated conversations with her on the same item. E-mails sent after 5 PM on a Friday. We would have questions and then not be able to get a answer till Monday. Even then, we would call Friday, leave a message and she didn't return calls. We thought her customer service was poor.
PAUL's Tip: Think about using another bank.

I'll have to say we started off with a bit of a rocky start but, when FBC assigned us a new Loan Officer (Keri Brown Ferguson), things just fell into place! She provided excellent advice and was always there if any questions would arise concerning our loan. I would recommend Keri to anyone looking for a home loan officer.
