Loan officer was outstanding in terms of response to questions and continuous updates beyond the emails sent by FBC. Additionally, the realtor was impressed with Barry S. as a loan officer. He was in continuous contact with the realtor with regular updates. We also appreciated the the professionalism of FBC Mortgage in general.

Personable and Communicative
A colleague recommended Barry to me as someone ideal for a first-time homebuyer and I couldn't be happier. He was quick in his communications and was patient in explaining every aspect of the process. Even when he was out of the office, he made sure that there was adequate, informed coverage of where we were in the process and how to keep us moving forward in his absence. I've heard horror stories of loan officers who have more or less "ghosted" on clients once the paperwork was submitted only to resurface in the final moments. Not Barry; he was checking in and helping to coordinate our loan and legal checklists throughout.
Joshua's Tip: Don't be afraid to ask questions; Barry was very helpful in answering everything and giving concise, direct explanations.

Great job, positive experience
the level of communication, knowledge and caring were outstanding by Barry Sheehan......no question went unanswered......tremendous follow up on all issues.......on the negative side, while I fully understand fbc must document the process, I felt the level of documentation required was redundant, unnecessary and frankly a pain....also, the sellers attorney was difficult to deal with and did not do his job very well (which is NOT the fault of fbc), but it did complicated the overall process

Barry and his team were courteous and professional. They helped us to stay on track during the process inorder to turn things around in a short period of time. The appraisal firm they used gave us the most accurate appraisal we have ever received on our property to date. The appraiser use other comparison properties to ours that were a better match and comparison than prior appraisers. The law firm performing the closing was efficient and was on time for the closing. The amount of time to sign the documents was quicker than I expected.

The Only Place to get a Mortgage Loan!
Barry Sheehan was the ultimate professional! He managed to get us through this entire process in under thirty days when every other professional I consulted told me it would be 45-60 days. Barry and Dianne were organized beyond description. Their communication was constant and direct. Their follow-through can only be described as perfection in action. I have already told all our friends and family what a pleasure FBC made a VERY DIFFICULT process. There is a great deal of stress involved in the home buying process in 2017. Without Barry's guidance I am quite sure the frustration would have overwhelmed my wife and I. There is no doubt in my mind that without Barry and the FBC Team I would not be sending this e-mail from my beautiful new home!!

Being first time home buyers, we are so beyond happy we chose to work with Barry Sheehan from FBC Mortgage. He took the time to walk us through every step and detail, and prepared us for what to expect during the whole home buying process. Any time we had a question he would be there to answer, and that's what we needed being so new to the process. In the crazy process of purchasing a home, working with Barry was always a pleasure. We had a tight time frame for closing, and throughout the entire process, everything was always communicated with us. Each time I reached out to Barry, he always responded right away. He always kept us in the loop as to what was going on, whether there was an issue or not. I can't thank him enough for making the situation less stressful, there will always be ups and downs when your buying a home, but having a loan officer that continually works with you makes it much smoother.
