Mostly great service and prompt replies. However, right at the end there was confusion and delays around a smaller, smaller lien on our property that took too long to resolve and cost me more money than was advertised ("zero" closing costs). I also had to eat even more cost to extend the rate lock due to this delay.
Scott's Tip: Remind loan officer to check liens on property and insurance requirements early on in the loan process. Ask them to list all potential costs that would negate the zero closing cost loan you're expecting.

Overall experience was good, very responsive. The only item where the experience was not the best was that costs of the loan estimate were much higher than the actual costs.
Jose's Tip: Be prepared to pay more on closing costs than the first estimate you get.

She was great and able to secure a better rate than we had discussed as she waited for the market to change that day. A few communication issues with title, but I believe that was more the title company's fault than hers.

This is the second refi that I have done with Home Loans Today and second that I have done with loan officer Anthony Edwards. The process is simple, quick and all electronic. Anthony was always available for me via phone or email when I had a question.
Paul's Tip: It helps to have a scanner at home to be able to quickly scan paper to pdf.

2nd time was just as great
Anthony helped us with the purchase of our home in August 2018 and we were extremely happy. In June 2019 he reached out to let us know rates had significantly dropped so we re-finaced with him and we were just as happy the 2nd time around. Our Loan Processor Tanya was excellent as well. M tu brother is refinancing with FBC and my mother is using FBC for her purchase right now and both are extremely happy as well! You will be hard pressed to find lower rates and great customer service.

Anthony and His Team from Home Loan Made the Transaction Easy
First of all, I was impressed when Anthony giving me a call to let me know about the lower interest rate. I received many mail and email offering the same thing but a personal call in this case made the difference. The Home Loan tools made the whole refinancing process easier. Communication with the team members was good. I like how Home Loan offers low cost refinancing, making the whole process worthwile. The rate I got was good even though I knew a friend who got a better rate later else where. But I think it was due to the market, not Home Loan.

This process was quick and painless. We live in Colorado, property in Colorado, underwirting in Florida using esign and email was so helpful. Everything completed in a little over a month. Having the title co come to our house to sign the final papers was great, since Daniel was working and we squeezed in in between conference calls. So considerate. Thanks for the all the great help.
Daniel's Tip: Working across several times zones was a little tricky. Just be aware of it and make yourself available for a wide time span each day. Not hard to do.
