Smooth and Exceptionally Quick
We ended up needing to close quickly (~ 2 weeks) and our realtor recommended Kristin Hawkins at FBC Mortgage. Things were further complicated by the closing being toward the end of the year with people being out for the holidays. Kristin assured us that she would be able to close on time provided we met certain deadlines on our end. The deadlines allowed us a limited time to shop around, and Kristin was even able to match a competitor's rate (potentially, the rate had just decreased from day to day). After we chose to go forward with her, everything went smoothly. E-signing and uploading documents were all easy through FBC's online portal, and Kristin sent frequent reminders and status updates to keep us on schedule. When we did have a question about the process, she was quick to respond. We closed on time with no serious issue. I would recommend her without reservation.
