I believe technology has negatively impacted the experience of obtaining financing to purchase a home in the following way. I received piecemeal requests, notifications and information in the form of emails and texts. I had one sit down face to face at the very beginning and then day of closing. I have a job that just does not allow me the luxury of responding several times a week to small requests. Better to have a list needed for a meeting once a week. I did not always get a prompt response from Shannon Keller throughout the process when I had questions. I have the final papers and still do not completely understand all the line items. I suppose on some level I don’t need to, but I prefer to. As for the various cutesy video emails....I quit opening them after the first one. The closing was delayed more due to sellers than on my end. I did have to ask the week before original closing date to hold all requests until my day off as the bombardment was overwhelming and stressful as I could not respond in a timely manner due to my job. That might have delayed as well. My initial call was returned in a timely manner.

Open Communication & Patience
Buying a home is very stressful but Shannon and her team made the entire process smooth and worry free! No matter how many times I would call or how many questions I had, Shannon was quick to answer and even took the time to explain the process to me. Everything was transparent and her patience was on point the entire month. I'm pursuing a Realtor's license and plan to suggest The FBC team to all my clients. I look forward to working with her in a professional atmosphere as her consumer support is amazing!
James's Tip: Be on top of it! When paperwork is requested, get it to them as quickly as possible. It makes for a faster and easier completion and close escrow in a short amount of time.
