Disappointed
I was not happy with the loan officer who never answered her phone or returned calls. Everything was done via email, and not promptly. When eventually speaking to her it was as though I was bothering her and was being corrected (in a not so nice way) on the jargon of her job when I would ask questions or try to understand my future investment with her company. There was no warm and fuzzy customer is always right relationship with this lender. When calling to touch base about the final details I was told I was good to go and that she had everything FBC needed. And then that same day I received an email from someone I didn't know and was not informed would be contacting me asking for all the information and documentation I had already provided to Quita. I was confused and upset that this was happening especially after I had just spoke with her to make sure she had everything. Make a long story short the other person requesting the information from the loan processing department ( Sandy Medina) was AWESOME! Her customer service skills are amazing, she is the person I should of been dealing with from the start. From that point on I spoke with Sandy and she served as the middle person with the Lender and I. If I had dealt with her from the start I would of given a 5 star rating.

Works for me
The process was painful for me because I had to right a million letters of explanation! However, I would have had to do the same with any lender that I went with and FBC gave me ample time to respond to their requests.
Ross's Tip: Give yourself at least 6 months of steady credits / debits on all your accounts (checking, savings, credit cards) before trying to buy a newly built home. Otherwise you may have to explain all the nitty gritty details of your financials.
