Quinta Outridge was an excellent loan officer, when I began the loan process my credit was nor as good as it needed to be to qualify for the loan. She counseled me and by following her suggestions my credit improved. It was hard work and took discipline but within 9 months my credit had improved and I was approved for the loan! I learned so much about how the credit system works. She always took the time answer any question I had. When we closed, I was an informed and confident buyer.

FBC mortgage review
Our experience was great until the end of the process. There were promises made that were not kept and we were often given misleading information. I know the company was working hard to close the loan but our closing date was changed multiple times. Our closing date was canceled twice, once the night before and another time 4 hours before we were set close.

Stayed late till the job was done
I had some frustrations with the loan process. Particularly that my parents were giving me money for the down payment on the house, which apparently is not allowed because on a conventional loan I have to show that 5% of the purchase price of the house is my own money - and the down payment is 5%. It was known up front that my parents were giving me money and nothing was said until 4 days before closing that this was an issue. The loan officer should have been more knowledgeable about my loan and told me months ago that I need to show that I saved my own money. That being said, the loan officer worked tirelessly to make sure I could close on the house on time.

Ms. Outridge was my determining factor in proceeding with my loan due to her professionalism and explaining things that I did not understand. She was more like a professional friend who was able to help me through my questions, and give me a better outlook on a few setbacks I experience throughout the process.
