Great Experience with FBC
My husband and I just bought a David Weekly home, and we used FBC Mortgage as it is their preferred lender and their were incentives associated with using their lender. I was a little hesitant as I did read some reviews on FBC that were not favorable, but thankfully our experience was very good. We compared rates and they were competitive. As for Matt's team, they were very thorough and responsive when it came to our loan, and everything was done in a timely manner for us to receive our funding and keys to our new house. If there is one slight complaint, it would be not receiving the terms on our HELOC loan until I asked for them which ended up not being through FBC but GBC Bank but they were handling the transaction. Anyhow, overall they were great. We appreciate making the closing process so smooth for us and are thrilled that we closed on time with no issues.

Bumpy experience
Our experience started off pretty good but as the process proceeded, it was a very up and down experience. We were able to close quickly which was great but trying to get the loan officer on the phone was nearly impossible.

Very traumatic process
I understand that my case was difficult, but the same day of my closing they call me to requested more information and obviously the closing didn't happen in the day that they choosed. My closing happened thanks to my realtor that found the information needed by them and sent it to them, because they didn't want to follow her advice about how to get the information from PR). They never followed the 3 days before the closing day to send the approval.
Wilmarie's Tip: Make sure you don't need a quick closing (let me explain... that you have time for last minute changes).

I realize the team works for many clients at once, but the service provided made me feel like a priority.
