Prior to working with Lisa, my husband and I attempt to get assistance from a combination of 7 different mortgage lenders and brokers. They were hesitant to even look at our application because my husband owns a small business. From the moment I spoke to Lisa, she made it a point to go through every scenario and roadblock and gave us an exact time frame of when we would be ready to purchase a home. This was our third home and I have never worked with a more compassionate or driven Loan officer. She worked with us for an entire 6 months to ensure we were able to purchase a home that was affordable, and big enough to accommodate our three boys. Her efficiency and patience helped me remain hopeful and focused when we faced unexpected issues. Lisa responded to every email and phone call without delay. When I got a little frustrated, our processor Elaine Thomas was empathetic and made sure we were aware of any changes immediately. Fabiola's Tip: Stay on top of your finances and make sure you keep accurate and update records. I created a folder specifically to save mortgage info 3 months prior to applying for a mortgage.

Lisa was SUPER to work with. FBC added bull***** paperwork to the closing documents that we felt like we were strong armed into signing. This was added AFTER all of our paperwork was in , completed and approved. It was sprung on us AT closing and we were told "If you don't sign these , you can close". Total bull***** move , unprofessional and UNFAIR.
Holly's Tip: If you don't get Lisa Wheeler , ask for her. Lisa was awesome. Professional , friendly , helpful , responsive and a total pleasure to deal with. Otherwise , I would never use FBC.

Lisa is absolutely AMAZING!
Lisa has amazing communication skills; she is very organized, focused and on the ball! I was 3-days from closing with a loan officer that dropped the ball and a seller that refused to give an extension. Seller's agent was very upset and yelling. The loan was transferred to Lisa immediately. She was amazing! She had to start the loan from scratch and promised to close in 30 days, but with a goal of 15 days. She went above and beyond and called the seller's agent to reassure him that she could close the file. If this deal gets saved, it is only because of her. Realtors like Loan Officers that communicate with them. Lisa is phenomenal with that. She should train other Loan Officers on effective communication skills.

Great and Responsive Officer
It was a pleasure working with Lisa on my first home purchase. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my many questions and walked me through the process. She was very prompt and responsive to my emails and helped me out tremendously. I can't really comment on the timeliness of how long it took to close since my particular closing set the specific closing date 6 weeks out. So there was plenty of time to close and no rush. I highly recommend Lisa!

We have been dealing with Lisa Wheeler from FBC Mortgage. She is very knowledgeable and will give you all the information you need to make a decision as to the loan. We are doing a reverse mortgage and I can not say enough about Lisa and how she gives us all the information we need. She is responsive to all our text, emails and calls. We got her name from a builder and even though we did not go with new construction she was very attentive to our needs. I would recommend Lisa and FBC to our friends for any of their mortgage needs. Thanks to Lisa this is a very easy transaction and we appreciate the time she takes with us and does not rush us in any way.
