I imagine every case has special circumstances, but Lisa worked closely with me every step of the way to provide very personalized guidance to help us get approved and close on time. She provided sound recommendations that focused on reality, rather than push me into a product (refreshingly different from 2007!). I feel that she was my advocate through the entire process, but remained balanced and kept me apprised of the progress as I made my way from application to closing. I would highly recommend Lisa and the FBC team.

We closed our first mortgage with Lisa in September and our second one on another home in April, and both experiences were amazing. Lisa is on the ball, i never wanted for any information or attention during the entire process. Both of the experiences were flawless, I even loved the underwriter Connie, who helped with our VA Loan. I can't say enough about this mortgage company or my amazing rate! I used to be a builder for a national company and of all the homes i have built for customers who used FBC, I cant recall a single person that had an issue during the process or at closing. Satisfied, but with Slight Reservations
Lisa Amorosa gave us excellent service on this loan. She was always informed & informative, readily available, & timely in her response to our questions & concerns. We had just 2 negatives to the process: especially toward the end of the approval process, we felt the research into our financial records reached absurd proportions, esp. given the relatively small amt. of the loan & our long, excellent credit history. Also, we missed our closing date because the documents sent to us to be signed required a pre-closing date to be notarized. Va. law does not permit false dating. It bothered us to be asked to break the law. Had the documents been written so as to allow us to date on the actual date we signed, we could have closed on the projected date, avoided paying added interest, electric utility bills, & HOA dues for days on which we did not own this property. The assessment of added interest payment, small though it was, was especially annoying, since the missed closing date was not our fault & seems petty to us.

This is the 10th home I have purchased and no one has ever been as helpful, kind, and conscientious as Lisa. Throughout what was a very trying purchase she was always extremely responsive and always made me feel like she cared deeply about my situation and provided all the help and support I required. My only regret is that I was seeking a larger mortgage so that she could have been paid a fee that was larger and more appropriate for the amount of effort she put into the process.
