Difficult But Worth the Challenge
It was a very paperwork intense challenge to develop this loan since the VA has apparently made it even tougher for veterans to receive a VA Loan, but the interest rate provided by FBC Mortgage and the zero down, made the extra effort worth the challenge.
John's Tip: If you are veteran and decide on a VA Loan, be prepared for an intense scrutiny of your personal and financial profile, which can only be satisfied with a lot of paperwork.

This was my 1st time buying a house and between work and daily life stresses on top of learning the in's and outs about what to look for in the actual house we were buying we had a lot going on! We were grateful after our real estate agent recommended FBC as our lender, and especially Kelly Taylor and her team. Kelly was on top of communicating with us at all times, whenever we needed updated information- we were never in the dark, or if we just needed advice about something we never once felt like we couldn't just pick up the phone and ask a question, it was a very pleasant experience. We are very glad they made our dream of becoming 1st time home buyers a reality and thankful for everything they did for us. There was a lot that was done to ensure the transaction went smoothly and they always followed up with us and made sure we made it to closing on time and with all the information we needed. Amanda's Tip: Have all of your documents ready i.e: pay stubs, tax information, verification of employment, if you can get as much of the required paperwork ready ahead of time then it will save you and cut down on processing time in the long run.
