FCB Mortgage review
Everyone at the office was very friendly and professional. They required quite a bit of information but sent much of it electronically and accepted e signatures for a lot of it. Returned most phone calls promptly, except they were a little slow to return calls the day before closing. Rate was acceptable but not great. Not a big fan of the title company that closed the loan.

Excellent Service and very Professional
This is a good company and trustworthy. No hidden fees, bad loans or other trickery. Jennifer handled the entire loan process from beginning to end. I Closed successfully and am now in my new home! I made sure Jennifer and colleagues got the requested documentation timely, whenever they needed something from me, and likewise, they always answered any and all questions timely by email and eSign. I never had to worry about the process or the stage we were at during the last four months, as communications was very good. It was very straightforward and turned out to be the easy part of the whole house buying experience. I have Closed on properties several times in my my life and this experience went very smoothly for me. Mostly Positive Experience
The good: Tiffany was very helpful, especially in identifying the mortgage products that fit my circumstance. Response to my inquiry was quick. In most cases calls were returned (from all team members) in a timely way. The "not as good." During the underwriting process there were several new requirements. With each exchange with the processor there was yet another document to produce. It would have been great to be told what they needed at the front. I could have gathered everything at once and submitted it. In addition I was told that the underwriter wanted reserve funds available after closing. Fair enough. However that number kept changing - from $2300 to $4000 to $3000 and lastly to $5000! It's much easier to hit goal posts that stay in the same place during the game! This stretched out the approval by weeks, requiring a contract extension re: the closing date. During that time the interest rate rose by nearly half a point!
